CAT5e/CAT6 DATA Cabling

Structured data cabling is increasingly becoming a top choice in the networking industry, providing continuous network connectivity around the clock while being highly cost-effective, as modern infrastructure can serve a business for a lifetime. Essentially, these cabling systems connect PC networks, tele devices, and other internet-based tools that are essential for daily business operations.

At iTrio, we cater to your business's specific needs by offering a variety of the latest data communication wiring systems. Our offerings include Category 5E and Category 6 installations, which are among the most popular networking solutions. Additionally, we provide options like fiber optic cabling, a versatile alternative to the aforementioned installations.

What is Category 5E and Category 6 cabling, along with Fibre Optical cabling, and what are the differences between them?

Category 5E and Category 6 cables are quite similar, with CAT5e a cabling option for Ethernet connections that supports speeds up to 100 MHz and a distance of 100 meters.

Category 6 serves a similar purpose but is thicker than CAT5e, which helps reduce crosstalk and allows for faster connection speeds of up to 10 Gb, also within a 100-meter range.

Fiber optic cabling, on the other hand, consists of multiple flexible fibers with a glass core that transmit light signals, resulting in minimal signal loss. However, this advanced installation tends to be more expensive than CAT5e and CAT6 setups.

The primary distinction between these cables lies in the speeds they can support. At ITrio, our team is ready to discuss the best and most cost-effective installation options tailored to your business needs.
